Join us for the Winter Snowshoe Edition of the Beaver Creek Trail Running Series.  We have taken the Snowshoe races of the past and amped them up.  We will still be offering a 10k, 5k, and a kids 1k at each event.  This year though we have added special awards for our athletes who participate in all 3 events throught the season.  For more information, please visit www.beavercreekrunningseries.com.

Race 1: Sunday January 6th

The first race of the Beaver Creek Snowshoe Series will take place on January 6th at Creekside Park.  Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 men and women in the 10k race.  All athletes will be entered into the raffle at the post party where you will also receive a post race meal.  

Race 2: Sunday February 3rd

The second race of the Beaver Creek Snowshoe Series will take place on February 3rd.  Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 men and women in the 10k race.  All athletes will be entered into the raffle at the post party where you will also receive a post race meal.   

This race is being sanctioned by the United States Snowshoe Association (USSSA) as a regional qualifier to the National Championships in Bend, OR.  If you want to qualify for the National Championships you need to become a meber of the USSSA prior to the race.  You can sign up online here (http://www.snowshoeracing.com/membership.htm) or in person at the race.  You do not need to join USSSA if you do not want to qualify for the nationals.  

Race 3: Sunday March 3rd

The final race of the Beaver Creek Snowshoe Series will take place on March 3rd at McCoy Park at the top of the Strawberry Park Chair Lift.  Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 men and women in the 10k race.  We will also be awarding special prizes eligible only to the atheltes who completed all 3 races in the series.

Entry is available in any of the races at a non competitive level.  Come on out and have some fun or run to win.  Either way, don't miss this beautiful snowshoe run in an incredible setting.
